The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 5500 SF 4 bedroom 4 full bath 2 half bath house on 1.05 acres in Seneca.

A pocket listing is when a listing is not entered into the MLS and is NOT exposed to the maximum number of potential buyers or on the open market. However, for high end properties, this is not unusual.

The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 3004 SF 3 bedroom 2.5 bath house on 0.68 acres in the city limits of Seneca.
It sold for $130,000 CASH after being on the market for 218 days. Originally hit the market at $189,500.
Located in the 29678 Zip Code and the Northside Elementary, Seneca Middle, Seneca High school district per MLS.
Multiple fireplaces. Architectural shingle roof. 1 car attached 2 car attached and 2 car detached garage. Heat pump. Carpet, ceramic tile and hardwood floors.
Huge home for the money in well established neighborhood. Does need cosmetic updating.
I would say the home was overpriced when it hit the market and this caused it to take so long to sell.
Overpricing leads to homes taking longer to sell and selling for less than they should or could.

The best deal of this week’s new listings in my opinion is a 1863 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 1.43 acres in Seneca.
Hit the market at $139,500.

All brick home with 2 car attached and huge detached 2 car garage/shop.

Big house and lot for the money and the big detached garage/shop really makes this an attractive property. Appears well maintained and move in ready. The only negative I see is some of the interior is dated cosmetically.
