information about the least expensive home house sold in Oconee County South Carolina week of February 5 2017

The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1200 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home on 0.59 acres in Westminster.

It sold for $8500 CASH after being on the market for 151 days. Originally hit the market at $22,000.

Located in the 29678 Zip Code and the Westminster Elementary, West Oak Middle, West Oak High school district per MLS listing.

Brick underpinned but does not say if it is FHA approved foundation. And that probably would not matter as the home is a massive POS. Needs extensive work before it would be livable.

Looks like a foreclosure and the pictures make me think it will have that God awful foreclosure smell. The county records make me think it is a foreclosure BUT the listing does not indicate it is a foreclosure.

Some banks do not want the property identified or marketed as a foreclosure or bank owned. Not sure if it would have helped or hurt this eyesore.

If it took 151 days to sell and sold for $8,500, then most reasonable and logical people understand what it REALLY is. The nice thing is the agent uploaded pictures into the MLS that show just how bad it is.

information about the best house home sold in Oconee County South Carolina week of February 5 2017

The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 3178 SF 4 bedroom 3 bath house 0.34 acres in Salem.

It sold for $179,999 CASH after being on the market for 105 days. Originally hit the market at $229,000.

Located in the 29676 Zip Code and the Keowee Elementary, Walhalla Middle, Walhalla High school district per MLS.

Located in gated golf community on Lake Keowee. The home is NOT waterfront but there is a community boat ramp and dock. And a community pool, tennis and much more.

Wood exterior and finished basement. Architectural shingle roof. Heat pump. 2 car attached carport. Private water and sewer company.

Carpet, ceramic tile and hardwood floors. Workshop, rec room with wet bar, breakfast nook, living/dining combination. Den with fireplace.

Master suite on main level has walk in closet, double sinks, garden tub and separate shower.

Being sold to settle an estate so no property disclosure. However, the home looks well maintained and move in ready.

Huge home and in great shape for this price. Plus the gated community and the amenities help to make this my selection for the best deal of this week's sold homes.
